COFCO (Dongguan) Grain & Oil Industry Co., Ltd. is the core operating entity of COFCO's integrated grain & oil industrial park in South China, located in Xinsha Port Industrial Park, Machong Town, Dongguan — known as "China's No.1 Town for Grain & Oil Logistics Processing". The park features 8,500 MT/day soybean crushing and 2,400 MT/day edible-oil refining capacity, 800,000 MT total storage, with 240,000 MT silos and 187,000 MT oil tanks — one of South China's most complete and highest-capacity grain & oil processing bases.
GSS (Suzhou GSS) participated in the project's storage-transport & conveying system, supplying core conveying equipment for the oil mill, peripheral raw-grain system and soybean-meal storage-logistics — Bucket Elevators, En-Masse / Drag Conveyors, Single-Roller / Enclosed Belt Conveyors and Screw Conveyors, etc. Nearly 160 units handle the full-process material transfer from raw-material intake and workshop feeding to meal reclaim and outbound loading.
After commissioning, the system achieved continuous, enclosed operation across soybean receiving, oil-mill feeding and meal storage-outbound, effectively improving plant-wide material-flow efficiency while reducing dust emission and material loss during conveying — providing a reliable backbone for COFCO's grain & oil supply chain in South China.

As a central-SOE grain & agriculture giant, COFCO demands extremely high engineering standards, delivery capability and system reliability from suppliers, requiring a partner with end-to-end one-stop capability from design and manufacturing to commissioning.
Goals & Challenges
The park operates at an 8,500 MT/day crushing scale; material transfer must be highly continuous with zero bottlenecks. It requires efficient full-process linkage from the 120,000 MT soybean/rapeseed raw-material silo group to the soybean-meal squat silos — any break point would drag down overall plant output.
The oilseed-protein industry is highly sensitive to dust emission, cross-contamination, material breakage and loss. Traditional open conveying cannot meet COFCO’s cleanliness and environmental standards.
From raw-material intake → workshop feeding → meal reclaim and outbound, the flow spans oil-extraction, packing and storage sections, demanding highly reliable, low-maintenance equipment precisely matched to the plant’s production rhythm.
