FAQ

What are the advantages of drop-forged chains compared to other chains in grain conveying?
Our drop-forged chains are manufactured using an integral forging process, ensuring high dimensional accuracy, a smooth surface, and a compact structure. Compared to welded or stamped chains, they offer three main benefits for grain handling: 1) The smooth, burr-free surface prevents scratching or snagging kernels, directly lowering the breakage rate. 2) The uniform pitch and lightweight nature ensure smooth, low-vibration running, reducing vibration-induced damage. 3) The high structural strength and wear resistance provide a long service life and low maintenance frequency in dusty grain environments.
Does the equipment need to be cleaned when switching between different grain varieties? Is it easy to clean?
The Paddy & Wheat Series features a low-residue design. When conveying the same type of grain, residue is minimal and frequent cleaning is generally not required. However, during variety changeovers (e.g., switching from paddy to wheat, or between different grades), a simple cleaning is recommended to prevent mixing. The equipment is engineered for easy cleaning: the smooth, dead-zone-free inner walls and openable clean-out/inspection doors at the ends, combined with the self-sweeping effect of the flights, mean that simply running the machine empty for a few revolutions usually minimizes residue. If necessary, compressed air can be used to assist. The process is fast, easy, and does not significantly impact production efficiency.
Is this series suitable for continuous 24/7 industrial operation?
Yes. The Paddy & Wheat Series is positioned as an all-weather, continuous conveying solution. It combines robust structural integrity with drop-forged chains to ensure low energy consumption and high reliability, making it fully capable of handling the rigorous 24/7 operating demands of commercial grain logistics, milling, and processing plants without compromising capacity.
